Summertimes Calling Me, one of the classics of Carolina beach music, propelled this band to the front of the southeast music scene in 1975. The Catalinas followed up with several popular albums and thousands of live performances featuring their popular on stage antics.
In 1989 they struck again with Line up which featured the top40 hit They Call Me Mister Bassman and Whatja Do That Fo. The latest effort by the band is a 30-year anthology featuring all their beach music hits.
